The Helsinki-Vantaa
airport is the largest and most well connected airport in Finland.
There are direct flights available from all major airports in Europe.
Especially Finnair offers excellent
connections from Far East.
The Tampere
airport is also served by some international flights. Ryanair offers affordable flights
from all over Europe. Also Blue1 and
AirBaltic offer some flights to
Tampere.

There are daily train connections from St. Petersburg and Moscow to

By Car & Ferry
There are plenty of car ferries operating on Baltic Sea. There are
two very popular routes to Finland. The first goes through Baltic
Countries with a ferry between Tallinn and Helsinki. The second route is
through Sweden with a ferry between Stockholm and Turku. Some companies
also operate direct ferries to Finland from e.g. Gdynia, Rostock and
Travemünde.
Some of the largest ferry companies are Tallink-Silja, Finnlines and Viking Line.
